Honoring a Legacy. Empowering a Future. Fighting Sickle Cell Disease.
The Elizabeth Nicole & Jacqueline Antoinette Holmes Sickle Cell Foundation (ENJAH-SCF) is a nonprofit organization committed to improving the lives of individuals and families impacted by sickle cell disease (SCD). Inspired by the courageous lives of twin sisters Lizzy and Jackie Holmes, ENJAH-SCF was created to turn loss into legacy—and compassion into community care.
ENJAH-SCF was built to ensure that Lizzy and Jackie’s light continues to shine by empowering others every day.
We honor their legacy by:
At ENJAH-SCF, we transform pain into purpose. Founded in memory of Lizzy and Jackie Holmes, our work is dedicated to changing the future of sickle cell disease through advocacy, education, and compassionate care.
We don’t just raise awareness—we raise hope.
We don’t just offer support—we offer strength.
ENJAH-SCF stands as a living tribute to two courageous women and a beacon for all who walk the path of sickle cell disease.
Everything we do is guided by the needs, stories, and strength of the sickle cell community.
From scholarships to support services, we focus on real outcomes that uplift real people.
Sickle cell disease disproportionately affects African, Hispanic, Middle Eastern, and Indian communities. Yet despite its prevalence, it remains one of the most underfunded and misunderstood health conditions. Many patients face lifelong pain, limited treatment access, and stigma. ENJAH-SCF is here to change that.
We exist to bring awareness, offer relief, and push for change—so no one has to fight sickle cell alone.
To uplift individuals and families affected by sickle cell disease through advocacy, education, financial assistance, and community engagement, with a vision for a future where SCD is not a barrier—but a battle that can be won.
ENJAH-SCF is committed to health equity for underserved communities affected by sickle cell disease. Through culturally informed advocacy, direct assistance, and inclusive education, we ensure every voice is heard and every need is addressed with dignity and compassion.
We advocate for equal care, one conversation at a time.
ENJAH-SCF transforms its mission into real-world impact through accessible, high-impact programs that support, educate, and empower individuals and families affected by sickle cell disease.
Scholarships for students with SCD, helping them reach academic and career goals.
Direct aid for families during health-related financial crises.
Educational campaigns that reduce stigma and increase early diagnosis.
ENJAH-SCF isn’t just an organization—it’s a movement driven by love, resilience, and the unwavering belief that no one should face sickle cell disease alone. Your involvement—no matter how big or small—can ignite hope, restore dignity, and change lives for generations to come.
Becoming part of the ENJAH-SCF community means using your voice, resources, and heart to uplift others.
